I bought three Revere fluted poles from another collector friend in North Dakota a couple years ago and dragged them home to restore. At the time I paid $450 each for them (unrestored) and that was a smoking deal with porcelain shades included. Shades alone go $250 to $500 depending on condition. Poles with the three or five bulb light fixture atop the shade, I have seen them go $1500 each in unrestored condition and they are very heavily sought by oil and gas collectors. You may get lucky and find a lone shade for $300-$500 depending on condition? I'll keep an eye out for you.
These are the 3 that I restored and put on the pump island in my garage. The wireless remote turns all the lights on/off which is a nice touch. ![]()

I thank you and all who help here. Cool stuff that I am addicted to. As far as finding a light, I subscribe to the theory that " every once and awhile a blind hog finds an acorn." Forgive me, I am an Appalachian. That means, with a little luck, I may stumble on to one I can afford?

Do you have a preferred color? I've personally seen em in Blue,Red,Green,White,Yellow & Cream (Beige). If you do find one, make sure it's not painted. A few are painting them to customers desire, then saying they're authentic. Porcelain doesn't scratch off. |

Most all of those lights have a thin black band around the edge/lip. I prefer to find stuff that has not been messed with. Color? Beggars can't be choosers, lol. Red, Blue or Green would be my preference.

Deals are still out there. Just start searching craigslist and maybe use a Tempest search on Revere Lights to find the deal that's right for you.
Fact is, they were used all over the US and are still pretty abundant out there.

Here's a photo of my grandfather at his Standard station in Milwaukee, WI. The photo was made into a mural to cover the service panel in my garage.
