They were actually patterned after Gary Scelzi...but who'd know.

One of the coolest parts of that whole experience was sitting in the staging lanes waiting to get in...and having the "promoter" get us a special escort....while we were waiting Charley was warming his hands in the ZL1 engine bay...that's when the people sitting there FINALLY realized what they were looking at!

Now back to our regularly scheduled program...

Just don't clean out the ashtrays. There are original cigarette butts still in them. Back seat trays too. Probably a couple greasers and their horn rimmed hotties left them way back when !!

Absolutely amazing, can't express how good it is to see one kept original , just repaired in all the right places. the spatter paint in the trunk is interesting. I always thought the entire trunk was painted. showing my lack of knowledge here.
