It is semi-gloss. Of the orig paint cars I've seen and examined closely (very closely), none were high "body" gloss. They do, however, get glossier with age and vary from car to car (just like cowl blackout) and I think that has lead to some confusion.

This question, like so many, won't ever be "put to bed once and for all", though, as an example will show up that looks like full gloss. Right, Charlie?

Kim, where were you? For future reference, just by chance as Justbad Joe snapped the photo, here I am getting a close look at this real neat 69 L78 that was photo documented with the red hockey stripes. I'm the skinny guy with more hair on my lip than head.....

Dave missed you again this year. I have that same problem with lip and top!!! Don stowers was taking pictures friday night. He has a camera just like mine !! turned out to be my camera!! This is one picture he took of me and Rick Nelson. I'm the good lookn one!!!
