Default Thunderbolt with Mickey Thompson mags

I’ve got a pic of a Thunderbolt with those mags in the front. The local Ford dealer in my hometown raced it. I think the pic is circa 1967,68. I’ve got to get my daughter to scan these pics I’m talking about on to her computer.
Thanks Bill, all these years and I never knew what brand those mags were.

My first purchased-by-me was a 1964 GTO I bought on the Southside of Chicago, my college roomate has a pic buried in a box. I don't have the vin otherwise I would try to find it, I heard it was repainted but still had the Chevy 327 in there. White vinyl top, orig a red car, body was a plum color and it has "Insanity" stenciled on the rear quarters. I sold it to a guy named Rich back in 1987.

My memory, though operating on less than 100% these days, recalls them being Fenton. When's the last time you saw redlines on a '57 by the way

P.S. Had Fenton slots on my next '57........Nomad

They are Mickey Thompson Rader wheels. They have a single rib down the center of each spoke. The George Barris batmobile had those wheels on it too.

----The add shows a Fenton. An MT Rader wheel would have a different center section with a rib in the center of each spoke......Bill S
----Guess we both responed at the same time, Got Grunt.

At the ripe old age of 15 (1987) I bought my first 1969 GM A Body.

1969 Beaumont (with Chevelle front clip)

Side note: Soon after a girl caught my eye and this car took a back seat. You can see the church we got married in, in the back ground of the photo, we walked across our neighbours back yard to get to the church on time…. I forgot the rings so Dad ran home and got them :-)
