Has anyone ever seen the engine install plate that is attached to the carb studs pull off? I've never used one of them because I'm always concerned that those 4 studs will pull right out of the aluminum!

A few months back I was bolting my lift bracket to a BBC and noticed one stud would not torque up. So even after the heli-coil repair I elected to use a chain bolted to the heads, Makes me nervous too.
