Yeah, it was a killer old race car and really well built. A yenko.net member owns it now and did a great job freshening it up. Maybe we can convince him to start a new thread....

If I owned one I may feel differently about these boots. But being a fellow without one, I just don't really get excited about them. Poking a hole in a standard boot seems like a simple enough solution.

I gotta agree. I think the Mr. Gasket straight-line shifter was the superior of the two.

I have had two guys that rebuild shifters tell me that they prefer the Ram Rod over the V-Gate because the V-Gate would get hung up in between the gates. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/dunno.gif[/img]

I've never used either one but may possibly put my Ram Rod in someday.
