In the one picture on page 210, not sure how to single out this picture, there are 2 boys by the Christmas Tree. There is a GI Joe Toy Jeep box in the background. The one boy is kneeling on a car game. The car game is the Chevrolet Road Rally Game from 1967 that Chevy Dealers would give out to customers. The little boy on the right is holding one of the red 67 Camaros that came with the game. The yellow 67 Corvette is on the game board on the ground... The game still has Christmas wrapping paper on the box so you can't see the box markings...

Pretty Cool!!

Here is a picture of my 1st car I drove. I really enjoy sharing my old toys with. They are 2 and 4. I owe my parents a big thanks for helping me hold on to this stuff for so long. I'm looking forward to digging this out for my son this spring.

Cool shots! - Gas was about that price when I started pumping it at the Shell Station, after school in the early sixties! We didn’t sell diesel, but I think that was under 20 cents – what the hell happened to that price difference? (And wasn’t there always a cents key on typewriters?)

Glenn, in 1969 we paid .17 cents for bulk diesel. so you are correct it was always cheaper than refined gasoline.
