That's quite the history of a great family heirloom Jake. I can't imagine how proud your Mom and Dad are of you for all the work you've put into cousin Eddies car! The story with the 55 Chevy and the broken axle was my favorite.

I had to make a run to Lowes yesterday and thought it would be a good test run for the new fuel pump. Everything worked great - no leaks and no issues.

Did ya git-er parked fer enough from the door so no one else will park next to it, Butch ?? LOL Gotta know that line from Butch Cassidy to get it...
You must be nearing the goal of having it appear as though it was just driven off the show floor. It all looks immaculate.

Thanks Mitch - it is about as far as I'm going to take it for now and way beyond where I thought it would end up. I'm very happy with where it is at. Focus is on the 67 now and getting it to the same level as the 409. I am hoping to enjoy them both this summer.

I'm surprised that you didn't come out to find someone parked right next to it. I've had that happen more than once with my Camaro.

That's why I said that....
I bought a '72 'Cuda new and at 3 weeks old parked it at the far end of a Sears lot and before I could get out a woman parked right next to me, whipped her door open and smacked mine... I said a few choice words to her and she just walked away, very deliberate. Her door looked like someone had kicked it in when I moved my car, but the whole thing looked beat to hell and she was just jealous.
