What about the Motor City?!
Growing up in Deetroit, well Southfield actually, we had the distinction of having the Who play at our own Southfield High in '68. Song #1: Talkin' about MY generation!
I saw Alice Cooper open for the Who at the Grande Riviara in 1970. Admission was $4.00. Song #'s 2& 3: I got you under my wheels and Won't be fooled again!
Saw Cream play at the Grande Ballroom, Song # 4: Crossroads. Jimi Hendrix, Song #5: FIRE, live at the Detroit Masonic Auditorium in 1969.
Chicago opening for Jethro Tull At the Grande Riv in 1970, before they only played in Stadiums.
Somebody roll up another one!

Yep...High School was Sunny Hills High!

Gwen Stefani went to Loara High School...lived 3 blocks from me..and went to the same church as we did. I know her brother Eric.

Here's another trivia question...what is Eric famous for other than No Doubt which he helped found?

The Simpsons.

I believe Eric's influence to start No Doubt was based on his liking of Ska music (The Specials / Madness).
