BTW, was the 427 Impala from AZ? It looks very familiar...

Yep.. cool car.

This beautiful beast is owned by Kevin DeWitte out here in the "valley". Highly documented, highly detailed. A true wonder to see in person. Kevin alos owns a white COPO Camaro that he purchased new back in the day.

I drooled on that car. Nice car(!). Nice owner. As I said to my buddy, if I could order that car new, I don't know what I'd do different!

You're welcome Dave. I'm glad you have the car because I know you will care for it properly. I follow the '67 Camaros closer than most and I can say that your L78 is the nicest completely unrestored '67 that I have ever seen. The story of Robert and his family takes the car to a different level than most cars in my mind and I hope you continue to share the story with others.

I won't try to list all the old friends we see at these events but I will say we seem to meet new ones everytime we attend. This year it was Ken Tibor. I fell for Ken's Nova when I first saw it here on the site. Well, let me tell you; the car is even better 'up close and personal'. And Ken and his wife are an absolute ball to be around. New experiences with every trip eh?: Ken even learned how to get Diesel fuel from the pump when the station is "Closed"! (Long story!)

So is that original paint black rear panel, far left in photo, gloss or semi-gloss? Might be nice to document that and perhaps put that question to bed once and for all! What an incredible car and a truly tragic story.

Nice Camaro

WOW!!! This car was sold out of Fred Gibb. I saw the car about a month ago with no stripe and rallys, I thought it was cool then! L78 4 speed very cool.

Ken, Thanks for posting all the pictures. Very cool! Do you or anybody else have any more pictures of Kevin's L72 Impala SS (engine, etc.)? I would love to see them.
