Can't argue with that! The pictures Bruce took show an awesome collection of cars. And I'm sitting here in NJ swapping out the steering stabilizer on my 88 4Runner today in 38 degree weather! Man I'm dumb!

I think there is also some jealousy at play here. Notice how the american muscle and hot rods have killed the forgein stuff price ways..like their beloved porches and fairies. I think they have "shrinkage" even thinking about it.

Brock doesn't like the Motion Vette.

[/ QUOTE ]
Because he doesn't even know what it is.....he's supposed to be a car guy. Can you tell he's a Car and Driver guy or what? He doesn't seem to know anything about the musclecars and he doesn't seem to appreciate them at all. Some of his comments are just idiotic. I especially like the one where he commented on the '63 split window coupe when he said, "now if this was a '63 with a big block it would really bring big money". The other commentators had to tell him that they never made such a car. Unbelievable.

[/ QUOTE ]

Thats a good one! 'OL Brock also had to look inside the 1968 Z-28 (NOM car) to see if it had the manual or auto trans package.

$210K for the BM Vette... Isn't that a fair price?

Dan, I thought it was a fair price,--I just thought the hammer came down a little quick--All I saw was That fella Jim ,with a phone bid, frantically signaling to the auctioneer to sell to him and boom it was over--I thought he would search a little harder for other buyers since it seemed like it was on a steady climb--"IMO"--The bottom line is, as long as the seller is satisfied---

Was kind of quick in comparison to the Marlboro Maroon 67 427 435hp Vette that went through tonight that the Auctioneer would not give up on. It seemed like he took the time it would take to send three cars through. Finally he brought a stale high bid of $100K up to $112K. Vettes like that sold for $150K the night before. I bet the seller was ready to blow his brains out with a Desert Eagle .50 cal after seeing the outcome of that Debacle!
