Hey Tom, Not yet. Been up north for a month and won't be home for another few weeks. Maybe when I get back I'll swap out the old ones. Still not sure, tough decision.

+2 on the slots. However, given the era the car was build, satin Centerline Auto Drags would be a decent choice too. Polished TT2s gotta go, IMO.

Thanks for the opinions, appreciate them. Spending summer up north, so when I get back I will try to figure out which direction to go with. To add insult to injury regarding the TT2s on it, they're 16's so that's even worse, lol.

Was considering going the BFG Radial T/A route since those were out when my car was done, so we'll see on the tires as well. Not sure if I want to do that, and would have to see if I'd want to roll with the white letters showing.

JMHO....
Mark, you're '68 has a "very busy high impact" paint scheme......I think the RWL tires will detract from the overall effect and time period.
Black walls at that time were in vouge with custom paints......more stock or single color would accept RWL's....

Choosing the Right Wheel will be more of an Impact I feel.

Aluminum slots, Highly polished, skinnies up front and deep dish for the rear.......
N 50's (295's & 305's) were outdated and out of favor by that time. (Later 70's early 80's)

BFG's 275-295 60 blackwall on early Weld Wheels or Champ 500's , Slots and or Cragar SST's.. SS, CENTER LINES are COOL. Too. .
You have more period choices than an early to mid 70's themed Cars.

Jmho....

I'm with Day2-_z28 top of the line ISCA cars rarely ran white letters.

Slots are too old. Cragar SS ok , early Centerlines or polished aluminum Cragar Super Tricks..
Champ 500 wheels..meh

The rear tires may be a bit much. ..M/T 's I think in Racing Profile......

They're not horrible, but I just don't like them enough to put them on the Camaro. If I went that route, I'd go with old Centerlines I think.

Good point about the slots. They were already "out" by the early 1980s. SSTs were popular, but they always looked cheap to me. Wels wheels seem like they were more of a late 1980s thing (at least to me). Satin Centerline Auto Drags get my vote (with blackwalls, of course). Cragar SS would work too.
