PRETTY sure this is one of the "Special" 1966 L72 M22 Big Brake cars (some referred to the iron headed L88's) Didn't Marty Shorr report on them back in 66?

----M22 Corvettes were rare enough in 66 (15 built), and J56 brakes a little less so (382), but the stunner in 66 was that 6 (I am almost sure of that figure) L88 Corvettes were built and released by Chevrolet in 66. None were for public consumption but at least 2 still exist and are beautifully restored. There were also 65 Corvettes built with 396 and M22s, but I only know of one for sure and it is unrestored.......Bill S

Being a '70, I was thinking you may spot that one Rick!
Similar situation w/ the '69 'Velle in the Ron Shafer ad as post #454 on the preceding page, traded in w/ alum' engine in place and car two years old max.
