I'm not up for the GForces Sammy! I have only hit those kind of speeds on 422 at 3am! And it took more than a quarter mile. That was a one time shot! Never again. 103mph at 13.8 was my official time at Maple Grove in my 4spd. I have since found out that my distributor was bad. Some fine tuning on a Mallory dizzy should help the time drop.

I guess I will have to wait until spring to fine out?

there are other tracks than Maple Grove to run at. Its good air, get it there Jed-I. You are capable of running the Professor's car. A couple easy time shots and you will be ready. Whats the Prof have to lose? He can't get past first round anyways. HA!! LOL

The only way to get pass the first round, is to keep trying. bbbenny will get it. If some else gets his car past the first round, how does that help bbbenny. The car can do it and bbbenny can get it done.

Bbbenny you better defend yourself on this one! Lol. I can see this being a good one for Sammy to play with all winter.

Here;s my reply on the issue of drag racing. I do it because I like it. I might not be the fastest guy at the track, but at least I;m out there racing. Ed Hedrick drove for Jenkins in the late 60;s. He;s still racing, and he;s 74 years old. Comments from the pits, always have all the right answers! The Dutchman
