Plus - if you ever do get that dream 1969 Chevelle....you'll be kicking yourself for getting rid of an M22 - I certainly did.

I will talk to Al today, he was sure the original transmission was in the car but memories can fade. I hope this jogs his memory!

See the CT9.........that says it is an over-the-counter replacement trans, and the other number that starts with an A is the production number. Did the first owner have a warranty replacement trans done?

Well I got him thinking now!! He remembers ordering the HD 4 speed wide ratio, with 2.54 first gear, (I haven't checked that number) and both the bill of sale and GM docs show the M20... Al is thinking this over and will check with a friend that knows about the car. (I forgot to ask but I think he worked at the dealer?)

My assumption would be that he got a warranty transmission when the warranty engine went in..........the extra engine was purchased and installed in the last three years so chances of someone slipping in an M22 from 69 seems unlikely....TBD

Ryan, I have a NOS set of Delco Air Shocks to replace the ones you have. Let me know. They're just sitting on the table with nowhere to go. No tubing though, just the shocks.
