I guess someone could find irony in your situation; surrounded by water but yet..............

Hope you're through the worst of it, with no damage or harm to livestock................. especially the human type.

Thats a nasty storm and hopefully it will be the end of it and repairs can be completed.

Not fun, we went through 65-70 MPH winds a few weeks ago and some folks are just now getting their power back. Our phones at work are still out from them

Geez,this is some serious weather.
Next to the Iowa caucus results,it's on every major/independent network.
On Telemundo,it's all they talk about..
Charley since you've lived there, have you ever seen it this bad?..Don't you have a stable of horses near that rooted island willow tree too?

This is a bad-a$$ storm, no doubt about it.

More than 1M people lose power in Calif. Storm

100+ mph winds.

Better batten down the hatches.

Snow is really coming down here in South Lake Tahoe. Expecting 5-10 feet. Can't wait til morning -- powder day!

Horses are fine. Not even raining right now. Just getting sick of listening to my 500.00 Coleman generator.... We have had alot more rain than this but the winds were some of the worst I have seen. This is nothing compared to the Hurricanes etc that happen to others.
