Okay not to get too far off topic...But here's some of "Bruce's Totally Useless Trivia" that is stuck inside my brain and wont leave...I have hundreds of these...

What do Thin Lizzie, Skid Row and the song "I've Still Got The Blues For You" have in common??? Kind of a trick question...

[/ QUOTE ]

Can't say I know the song connection but wasn't there a few members that were in both Lizzy and the orig. Skid Row...not to be confused w/ the 90's Skid Row band w/ Sebastian Bach who grew up here in Peterboro' w/ his yummy sister! .

Chi town bands....Styx, Cheap Trick, REO Speedwagon, Smashing Pumpkins, Chicago (duh)...

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually REO was from Champaign. We used to see them as a bar band at Chances R and Ruby Gulch .

Original REO with Kevin Cronin, Gary Richrath, Neil Daughty; (Golden Country, Roll with the Changes)

How about Head East. (Never Been Any Reason)

You were on the right track Pete! The answer is Gary Moore who was in those two bands....and the "Skid Row" part was the trick part of the question...not to be confused with Sebastian Bach

Still got the Blues for you can be found Here!

GREAT song!

If that's the deal then that's another interest of mine; the transgression of some of the early bands. Start with the members of Buffalo Springfield and do a 'Family Tree'. How many groups were formed from those original members and their spin-off groups? CSN (&Y), Poco, Souther-Hillman-Furay, all the way to Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt and Eagles. It's amazing.

Another Trivia question. Who was the lead singer for 'Vinegar Joe'? (Never Met a Dog/Sneakin' Sally Through the Alley)
