[/ QUOTE ] I can *unfortunately* vouch for that...we hit one in our dually a few years ago just south of Des Moines at somewhere north of 70mph...spent 2 days bored out of our minds waiting for the truck to be fixed. A HUGE doe came out of what looked like an alfalfa field, her guts exploded all over the engine compartment...that truck never smelled the same after that...

If you want to see some real deer come up to the Adirondack mountains in upstate NY...we don't shoot em', we saddle em' and ride them back to the camp!!
