It also needed new paint because of the stickers and lettering, jim said. The adhesive on the stickers was not very friendly to factory laquer paint. Roger

I'd be putting the stickers and lettering back on.. There are lots of fathom green 69 yenko camaros out there... but there would only be one "Gambler". Very cool original photos.

You're right Charley - them ain't the quarters on the car now.

Wonder if he had the speedo hooked up at the track. Is it possible that many of those 3345 miles were put on a quarter mile at a time?

What do you mean by that? I hear that the driver Ron Vaia put a Z28 crate motor in the car.

I mentioned that because in the pictures,it looks like a "302" on the front part of the fender.
