Stuart,

Yep...every Saturday night. Cars start getting there around 3:30pm-4pm for prime parking spots...though the last couple of weeks it's been slower than normal...we left this past Saturday night around 5:45pm...and there were maybe 150 cars there...if that. I think that it's getting slower due to the heat?

The cruise is located in the Pavillions parking lot off of Indian Bend road and the 101 FWY. in Scottsdale.

There's another nice cruise at 83rd Ave. and Union Hills...which is nice because it's closer to my house.

PM me and let me know when you may come...we can hook up for a beer or two? (or a soda if you don't drink!)

Ken, compared to the "good old days" there is nothing out here anymore and most of the cars at the shows aren't original arizona cars at all..

I'll take "nothing".

In addition to the killer Desoto convertible that Bruce spoke of / photo'd (thanks Bruce), later in the evening a '55 Gullwing MB rolled in. It was in original condition - silber mit rotes Innere (silver w/ red interior). All eyes turned - it wasn't the prettiest car there, but everyone knew it was special. Stunning! This is one of the neat things about this show, you just never know what may show up!

yes, thanks for pointing out my over simplification I just remember back in the early 80's when a local car show would have 2 dozen early camaro's alot of them with original docs from arizona dealers, now lucky to see 2 of them. Now you see cars for sale back east and its quite prevelant for them to say, southwest or arizona car. I would of liked to of seen the gullwing. I grew up playing in one as a kid. I have a photo somewhere of one of them I will try and find. it was silver with red leather also and was sold to a las vegas museum for $10k cash and my grandfather thought he robbed the guy. The other one which was a darker blue with blue interior was nice also.
