Murray, Were there any factory built big block Acadians? I want an Acadian to go with my Beaumont.

Canucklehead,I apologize for the idenity mistake on your Acadian.I have only seen one Beaumont and have heard of the Acadians but never seen one.It looks a lot like a Nova to me,but After closer inspection I can see some differences.Anyway it is a FINE looking Ride,I would be proud to display it at any show.Happy motoring

To the best of my knowledge there were no big block acadians, all the ones i found here were all small blocks. I had a friends brother running a 67 ss nova running in the superstock catagory when i was in high school. He held the record in his class, always liked the car and wanted to build one just happen to find the acadian first. 2 of my friends liked what they saw and started building some 67 nova's. I had a real nice 68 Beaumont Sport Deluxe ragtop, all original copper with a biege top and copper interior. Nice car, but only had the 283 in it, little underpowered for my needs. Fun for a daily driver though. Here's a shot of the car when i first found it.
