Pete;
It wasn't cheating until the rule was defined. I believe that issue came about due to the rubber hanging off of a particular Mopar

I would go with the dealership changing your tires to the white lettered version. I know that happened to a few Deuces here in the states as well. It was hard enough to sell these Deuces with a base price of $4,500, let alone with whitewalls!

Call Tom Shaw. We have a shootout. Stefano's Big block Ford against Pete's small block Chevy. My money is on the Bowtie. Tom

Hey, this is between Marlin and me. Lets see him back up his own comments. He became a spectator awful quick.

Stefano,
I have nothing to do with this, I personally feel the 428 cj's are slower. That's all.

Now, if someone else tells you they want a shootout, that's a different situation. Personally, I wouldn't want to race Pete's Nova either, JJ's just plain nuts, I dont' even think he knows there's a clutch pedal down there

Geeze, didn't mean to start a spittin match. We had more mopars in the area than Fords, but guess we'd better not go there. Marlin, we tried bleech one time during a burnout, but don't think it did much good. To clairify, do not confuse a 428 SUPERcobrajet, with a regular run of the mill cobra jet. SCJ's will with the right amount of coaxing run pretty well, probably better than a Boss 429 in street trim. Now withrespect given to the SCJ, what is it Pete says, when the flag drops the b ll s it stops? Schonye
