The paint on that GTO has been bad for as long as I can remember. It's like they shot it over the old original laquer and the repaint has shrunk into the laquer checking.

Far be it from me, though, to be judgemental about paint jobs on GTOs. The original paint on my car is pretty bad and is quite spidered on the horizontal surfaces.

In defense GFV&amp;HFM they have changed the display around a little bit. They like to mix things up every 40 or 50 years to keep things fresh:

Seat pattern is wrong for a 69 GTO.
