thank you everyone for the kind words.

credit goes to John Waleck and his team from Artisan Coach Works. his workmanship and dedication is over-the-top and he is a great guy. pics dont do it justice. Gary "the local brush" did an amazing job with the striping and Jerry Ambrosi of Master Upholstery did a killer job on the interior. Marty and Joel were a big part of the process ensuring its correct setup.

im seriously in awe of all you guys that have these skills. i hope i can pick some up in my next life. its like art.

Adam the restoration looks amazing!! My friend Richard who had previously worked on car will be excited to see it complete. I still find it amazing that a car like that was in my town.

Adam,
The car looks awesome!!!! I saw the article in Vettes Magazine!
But seeing these pictures is amazing. Thanks for sharing!
Do you have more pictures of the restoration?
I would love to see them.
Thanks,
Joe

I noticed the valve covers have the larger cut down emblems. Does the hood have the larger emblems too? Just asking because i'm trying to figure out a possible time date of when cars got the longer emblems. 71 Z28 small block car with the long emblems cut in chromed (mostly flaking off) ansen valve covers. Anyone have any thoughts on why these might be chromed over the aluminum ? The Vette looks great and sorry for the slight hi-jack on the thread...Jeff

Jeff. The emblems and valve covers are original to car. You are correct, the long emblems were shaved down to fit in the covers.

I believe the valve covers used were different sizes not the emblems. But I could mistaken.

No the emblems came in 2 sizes. The earlier ones are longer and were cut down to fit in the valve covers. BTW, awesome car.
