Default Heads up links--Rocker Mouldings

The guy has these listed as NOS 66-69 Corvair. They are not. I don't know what they are for but someone here will and may be able to steal them as they are mis-titled.

Are they Nova???

Was getting some gas yesterday and a white 63 Impala SS pulled in with a for sale sign. It's a white coupe with black interior. Good driver. The guy said it's original motor and trans. If anyone is interested let me know and I 'll give you the guys contact info. I have no dog in the hunt on this...just passing info along....

I took some pics and the guy said his asking price is 35K. I get the feeling you could deal with him....If you want pics I'll email them to you since I'm not sure if they can be posted here. Cool looking car.

Tom

Not sure if posting here or the Other Muscle section is better but for the guy that has everything, here's a real 'heads-up' ad..

Yep it's Capt. Sully's famous 'Hudson glider' Airbus at a salvage auction!.
Recently washed too!.

I thought this was worth mentioning, cause three interested people have emailed already.
Although a very nice NOS air cleaner and with the REAL snorkel seam, this was exclusive to the 1971 Chevelle w/ZL-2 hood on the assembly line only, not the 1969 Z/28 camaro,396,COPO or ZL-1</u>,as his title/description states. Those used #6485233,234 &amp; 235 respectively.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=110492283591
Notice the later issued safety thermo-vac flame arrestor nozzle underneath,as well as the snorkels elongated length, both new for 1971.1972 used a different one as well,so this is a one year only air cleaner.
I emailed the seller this same info,so I hope anyone interested in this is aware before bidding too.

"We always appreciate emails! The 233 and 234 air cleaners only fit L-48. The 235 air cleaner was for both Z/28 and Big Block cowl induction and superceded to this 891 air cleaner 9/1972. Yes, our GM parts does show this air cleaner fits 1971 Chevelle 454 as well. If you want a air cleaner for a 1000 point car, you will not be able to find a NOS one. Only the original ones from the assembly line were flat bottom...the rest came with the air filter ridge.- Thanks, Sam GRAFFZ"
