Bob Riggles appears to be the driver of the green car too. Did Hurst buy them to advertise their product ?

I'd phrase that a little differently: Hurst created them to advertise his products.

George Hurst was a master of marketing, his most famous creation being Miss Hurst (although he can't take all the credit for Linda Vaughn).

Bob Riggle was the driver of the Hurst Hemi under Glass and so I suspect he built one of his own, although he could have perhaps provided a bit more of a distinction when naming his car.

Or maybe that was the point.

You all may already know this - but - the Hurst car was not intended to be a "wheelstander". It was supposed to be a straight up match race car, with the engine positioned for best traction.

However, the first time they nailed the throttle and the front end came up, (and after a change of clothes) they were like "Holy Cow! I think we're onto something here!"

The first Hurst Hemi Under Glass Wheel Stander was based on a 1965 Barracuda and was driven by Wild Bill Shrewsberry. The following year (1966), a new car was constructed and that's when Bob Riggle took over the driving.

The Original Miss Hurst Golden Shifter - Pat Flannery Stephens

Pat was Hurst's spokeswoman for only 1 year - 1965. She was replaced in 1966 by our first lady of motor sports: Linda Vaughn.

Mother Nature’s frozen wonder can freeze solid and come back to life as if nothing happened! When winter comes, the Wood Frog’s body produces a unique antifreeze-like substance, allowing it to survive icy temperatures. Its heart stops, breathing ceases, and it freezes like a popsicle.

But guess what? Once spring thaws the chilly landscape, the Wood Frog thaws right along with it, hops away, and continues its daily froggy life. Now, that’s a superpower that’d make even the toughest superhero green with envy – or shall we say, frog-green!

When dragon millipedes feel threatened, they’ll emit a cloud of hydrogen cyanide. Enjoy the toasted-almond scent as it may burn, blister or stain your skin. Although cyanide is lethal to small animals and birds, the dragon millipedes are completely immune.

Hairy frogs willingly breaks their bones so that the bones tear their way through their toe pads and form claws that they can use to defend themselves.

At first glance, the ability to hover and fly backward may not seem particularly amazing, but if you think about it, hummingbirds have all the moves. Not only can they hover, but they can also do it mid-flight. Plus, they are the only bird that can fly forward, backward and even upside down.

If birds got frequent-flier miles, the Layson Albatross would win because of its incredible endurance. They can fly up to 50,000 miles in a year. The funny thing is that they rarely flap their wings while flying, choosing instead to be propelled by the wind.
