If NHRA would see what they're looking at, ..........

We've been going to Bowling Green, KY for the Nat'l Hot Rod Reunion since the inception, (this will be the 14th Annual) and have been to the March Meet in Famoso the past two years. The Nostalgia Shows are kicking A$$. The stands are packed for these events and the pits are crowded to see some virtual unknowns in the sport. Then you add some former and current 'Big Names' who have chosen to support the Nostalgia theme and you've got one helluva show. Cruz & Gary Densham, to name a couple, are HUGE draws at these events and then you add Mike Boyd in the Winged Express, .......... and Adam Sorokin (son of Mike, the famed shoe of the "Surfers" ), ..... Damn folks, what more can you want?

Nostalgia is where it's at! I wonder why. Could it be that the cars don't all look alike: that the cars aren't all rolling billboards for corporate sponsors; that there are more than TWO TEAMS filling each category???? Nah, I'm sure the NHRA Desk Jockies know more than the fans and the racers!

Just read on the Mello Yello site that if you bring an empty can or bottle of M/Y you get $8.00 off the admission price of $57 for spectators and &amp; $67 for reserve. Giant and Acme have them for $4.95 for a 12 pack. Worth the price Id say!

Erica and her sister are great people. Signed many of Dave's items with a big smile and was very impressed with the papers, t shirt and old memorabilia that Dave gave her from her past days in Jr. Dragster and before the Pro Stock deal. Class act!

Guess who made it on film! Yep...that's Sam talking to Charlie from the Grump camp and Black Arrow racing. Erica was signing for a little girl and made her day. That's me...well some of me getting some postcards signed and Sis Courtney taking a snap shot of it all.

Rough day for Erica and the Elite camp but moving on The Thunder Valley raceway in Bristol.

Erica had the #1 spot up to Q3 but dropped to #2 with a pass of 6.933 198.03 in Bandimere {Denver}..Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals. She will race A Prusiensky in the first round.

Gas Monkey Garage driver Alex Laughlin took the first #1 spot ever! This could be the turn around for K.B.Racing as they have won every race this year so far but.....I see a new winner this week!!

Remember that this will be shown on FOX Not Fox 1 at 3PM...got that Sammy!!!!

Guess who has a NEW Mopar teammate...Leah Pritchett! Amazing that these young ladies drive race cars!!!
