I remember seeing or hearing somewhere that that car was originally purchased for around the $400k mark. Now this car was built for this guy, if this was his dream car and he paid that kind of dough why would he want to sell it. Maybe it's not what he was expecting. Could it be he can (or trying to) double his money. If i had that kind of dough to blow my dream car would'nt be for sale for any price. Sounds fishy. When he and the car were showcased on "American Muscle Car, the Ultimates 'he seemed very happy

No doubt that the motor is beautiful, and some of the metalwork, excluding the body, is very nicely done.
However, they still can't get the headlight doors to line up correctly, and that hood scoop is just f-ing hideous. Who in their right mind would place that tacky add-on on a supposedly modern car? Obviously, someone will state that the hood wouldn't fit over the induction system, but those ITB intakes could have been engineered to fit under a flat hood. And then there's the rolling shot of those two schmos going for a ride... Once again, it's obvious that a prototype wasn't built, and studied from all angles. The proportions of that car are so bad from that angle that it looks like a home-built, amateur-hour special. Also, I had to laugh because, in the "two schmos" picture, they appear to be pulling out of a trailer park... Such irony-- Do you think he sold his house to buy the Camaro, and had to move into a trailer park? I guess that ending price says it all. Only about $400k off....! |
