maybe you just clean this up like previously mentioned and oogle over it for the relic it is.

Define "clean up"

Soaking it in vat of WD-40? 36 years of 80% humidity with those floorboards and I'm gettin flashbacks to Fred Flintstone's ABS system on his coupe..

Not flamin ya Jeff the car is cool as heck! Could probably count on one hand how many LS6's got delivered to the islands

Okay; what methods / solvents are used to get those kinds of results? I'd love to try some of that on my Corvette.

I used it on the Black 69 Z that I did recently... it had been sitting in a basement and that stuff does wonders!

Wow! The only thing more cool than the rust removing results is the car itself,

'cmon Jeff, buy that jewel!

I wish I had known about this product while de rusting my 70 chevelle project, I spent many hours blasting my car finding rust in spots even paint had covered at some point in time, and boy how I wish I had found a car like this one. I was almost under the impression that 70 cheveles were all but extinct when trying to find one, I drug mine from a wrecker/junkyard stripped to nothin but a body and frame then while researching parts and info finding more and more cars are out there, amazingly. and when someone finds one like this one, well it really brings back that feeling of saturday nights on the strip. And i do undersyand the mixed feelings of wether to restore or not but I agree that if it is well documented by photographs and reciepts along with project notes with dates this car would be well woth the resto . there a tuxedo black w/ white stripes on ebay now with high bid of $60,000.00 and going! and its not numbers matching the engine is correc date but not original ,had been replaced.
