What a Great Show..and Very well run too!
If there was anything Better then the cars,it was the
people that were there.
Getting a tour of the Old Fred Gibb Dealership by the current business owners was the icing on the Cake.
I'm going back.

Just pulled in, wanted to thank everyone who came this weekend. I can't list all the names of folks I know and met, because there are just too many, but want to thank a few who went out of their way to make this one of the best ever. This thing has now officially gotten out of hand!

I met Lee Hamilton, who was Dick's shop manager, from late '69 to early '71 and ran the '69 Funnycar during the 1970 season, (a great perspective on the old race days) Rick Lenane, who found Kim's car many years ago, and has helped us 3 Gibb racecar owner's, John Hooper, who without his book, I would not have located "Little Hoss" (I owe you bigtime John!) and Ray M.'s buddies, (how about that first ride with Dick!). Matt Murphy, and Ron, who drive countless miles promoting the motorsport hobby, and their family's who are behind them 100%. Your children are special gifts, it was great to see them with you at LaHarpe. (GMMG really means GO Matt M. GO! Larry Christianson, for the expert judging (and the neat ride, with Cragers yet!), and Tom Clary, (hope Ken B. didn't get too much debris on his broken down old racecar). Brian Henderson, and Joe Sweezey for bringing their Dick Harrell SuperCamaro, (I think a first, for a Camaro, did you guys get to judge?), and Annie Hartweg (did I hear squeaky brakes?) for putting up with us "carguys".

I want to also thank Helen, Nancy, Connie, Herb Fox, Mayor B., Steve Albert,(Monmouth),Jerry B. (glad you finally found reverse), and all those extra helpers for doing an outstanding job, and promoting a good time on Friday and Saturday.

These pictures are fantastic, lets see some more from whoever can post them. (Come on Jeff, I saw that $$$ camera you had in your new trunk). Mayor B., sorry you did not get the ride (didn't have enough bail money), you'll just have to see Jerry!

Need to sleep now, goodnight.

ps. Kim, you did a fantastic job! The triumvirate is complete.

As usual, a great show. A big THANK YOU to everyone who helps with the show.

Ran into a bunch of sYc members, including several who were showing their supercars.

Darren thanks for the pictures. I bought two boxes of disks for my camera and left them both in my suite case in Burington. DUH. I had a great time seeing everybody. Ken & Jerry super show. You guys did a great job. Perfect weather for the show. I was still wiring my truck for brakes friday night. We pushed the car in it,s place at the show and put the grill in. Still got a ways to go before it's done.
