Bud, I certainly don't look down on a SB car...in fact, I was watching the auction on the gold car before it was ever posted here because I had an interest in it. I think you are taking my (our) thoughts on the monetary value of the car in question as a judgement on how cool the small block cars are in general - absolutely not! Frankly, if that was an RS/SS 396/325 car in exactly that same shape with 88,000 miles I don't think it would bring $30K. If it was a low mile car - maybe $25Kish at this point, but an L48 would need to be really special to bring $30K.

I'd love to own Denis' new car. Put a new paint job on her and a little detailing and she would be sweet. The L48's are much more streetable than a Z or L78. He got a great deal on it, but there have been others on ebay that weren't too different for far less than $20K.

So take it easy...we like SB's too! If you come across a nice one with tons of options, let me know - I'm interested

I here ya, but I am sticking to my guns on what that car is worth if it is as nice as he claims, Most of these cars selling are wrong motor, tons of new metal installed,etc.. looks like a nice driver to me and the a/c is working and not in the trunk in a box.

I think it was in the garage next to Denis's car for grandpa but was snagged before he made it there.

Bud.
