And let us all not forget the drag race episode of the "Munsters" with the two George Barris classics.

I have been trying to find a movie called "The Racing Scene" with James Garner 1969. It is a documentary type movie where a film crew followed the Garner racing team around to races in 1969. There are clips of Don Yenko and his crew racing a Camaro at Daytona. I saw the movie on Speed Channel and wanted to tape it but they never ran it again. I emailed a bunch of people but all say it is not available and only way to get it is a boot leg copy that some taped from Speed Channel.
Any one know a Speed Channel junkie who tapes the old movies?

Stefano,
As soon as the movie started I recognized the car as not a Dart,It gave me sick feeling in my gut though, I had a Real Bad experience a few years ago with a í65 Cornett, with a psycho Mopar guy from H###, but that is a whole diff story.

Lets not forget Good Old Burt Reynolds in was it Gator? He had the Big car with a Big-Block and 4spd.

And ya gotta love James Bond for doing the corkscrew jump in his AMC, Suppose one of those is worth a few bucks about now?.LOL.

How about Thunderbolt amd Lightfoot.A nice Pontaic TA and a Monster Ply Fury(?) with a trunk full of bunny rabbits. That was the funniest wreck I have ever seen on TV.Had the exhaust run into the car for a real High....barrel rolled it and out came the rabbits. From then on out it was open season, the driver had a shotgun.Funny as hell......

Steve
That Bunny killer also played the Ned Beatty lover in Deliverance.

Stefano & Budnate
You guys are both right, with different Movies.

1973 White Lightning-Burt Reynolds released from jail to seek revenge for his Dead brother & get bad Moon Shining Sherrif Ned Beatty.(Ned deserved an Academy role I thought).I think Burt drove a Mopar.

1976 Gator-Burt Reynolds chases Bad guy Jerry Reed as Bama, and his Gigantic right hand man Bones.
Bones was so tall, his Head stuckout of the sunroof of the LTD he drove.

In the movie with Burt Reynolds as Gator Mc Klusky,if you watch it real close he bangs that 4 speed really hard ,but after the chase through town and when he pulls up to his parents home watch real close and you can see him put the auto on the column in PARK! Anybody remember the old thunder road movie with Robert Mitchum,Was not any Supercars in it but he had some pretty fast old fords one in particular was a 57 ford.

Another good car movie was Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry. Started out with a mean sounding 4dr big chevy. I think it was a '66, but it's fuzzy now. They end up in a cool '69 Charger, yellow with black strips down the sides similar looking to the Motion stripes. There is another movie that is vaguely in my mind I saw yeeeears ago in my childhood. Can't remember much about it. There is a part in the movie where there's one guy chasing another guy and he ends up without a car somehow at somebodys house and the guy at the house says you can borrow my car and he opens this old shed door and pulls out a green (I think) '69 or so Mustang with sidepipes and (I think) alum. slot wheels. All I really remember is the green and the sidepipes. Does anyone know what in the hell I'm talking about?? I'd really like to know what movie this is so I can put this faded memory to rest. I think it was on televison back in the 70s.
