The wisk broom that everyone is making such a big fuss is currently being sold by the person that at EVERY reunion brings without question the largest memorabilia display. I am sure that it is a real item. To my knowledge he has never sold a piece of memorabilia at the reunion. He has in his collection more than enough rare items to buy most any Supercar. I just don't get all the negitive comments. ...BKH

What's the big deal? Again, if you own a $100k COPO car, what's another $200 bucks for a dealer issued broom to display with it? If you have a Yenko sold car, then you should buy some Yenko issued perfume sets and hair coverings! The memorabilia goes with the hobby and cars, prices as well

I collect memorabilia also and I can tell you that making a reproduction is not as easy as it looks. You can make something close but to duplicate it exactly to fool an educated collector is no easy task. You can't go back in time to get the same materials used 20 + years ago, original tooling marks are different then new, the paper is different, the printing may be different. Even something as simple as a tee shirt will have a different label or material. To make a few Nickey clickers will cost you many more times then the originals sell for unless you order them in large lot size then you will never sell them all. Just like with the cars you need to do your homework when buying memorabilia. IMO

I agree with Brian...it's the real deal and if I had a car from that dealer it would be in the mail already...memorabilia is fast disappearing and some folks could care less about collecting it ..... others like to show their cars with cool stuff displayed next to it...I have been searching for a long long time for anything related to V V Cook or Jack Head Chevrolet and haven't found anything yet.

I agree Brian. I've picked up a few items from Joey, ALL without disappointment. He's a true enthusiast and very knowledgable. I'm just tryin' to out-wait him on the Berger broom, and that ain't gonna happen. I've told him that "I'll have my way with him someday", but I'm not holding my breath. Here's to you Joe:

I received an e mail from Joe the seller and I guess he is upset with me about the comments I made on the broom.I never said in my post it was not real.I did say it looked very new and I also said it could be the real thing, and I still think it looks new, and that could be because it was well preserved and never used! butI still believe it would not be that hard to duplicate items like the broom,Nickey clickers, decals, and a host of othe Items.I e mailed Joe back being the man I am, and apologized to him about the comments I made about the broom if he felt I stated that it was a FAKE.I never said his broom was a fake, someone else made the comment it was a rebody.Hell I know the rebody thing was a joke and I think it all started as a joke, just as the previous post on the darn thing, and so was my post until I made the comments about things like this being easily to duplicate, and I still stick to my theory they would not be that hard to duplicate.Hell if someone can make a Clone Yenko,Ls6,Z28,and others and most people can not even tell it is a clone, don't you think you could make a damn broom.Someone made a comment about a reproduction not being identical to a real one,no it would not be identical there would be some differences I am sure, but would you have seen enough real items or have one right there to compare it to,probably not.Hell if things could be made identical the US treasury would have a hell of a time trying to determine bogus bills. So to all members of the Super Car Site and to Joe the seller of the broom,I apologize to you all if you felt that in my comments I said the Broom was FAKE,I certainly did not ever say it was FAKE and am not saying that now.Seems you guys know the seller personally and vouch for his memobilia and thats great, sounds like he works hard to get the real items, and I think he is providing a good service to collectors for finding and offering the items for sale.I also told Joe I hope he gets $400.00 for the darn thing, and as Forest Gump says, thats all I have to say about that!
