My dad was good friends with Al and the service manager at Mac Chevrolet. Ron Taylor In lincoln nebraska could probably give you any imfo you wanted on that car. Your correct that it isnt a ZL1. Mac did order a new ZL1 along with so many other camaros to be able to get one. One of the camaros was my dads 69 z28 on the same transport. I was told when the transport arrived they pushed the ZL1 off and into the shop, pulled the motor, painted it black and put it in mac's camaro. You have a very neat historic car. wish my dad was still around to show him this...

X66 car. Too late for an X66 Yenko. 5500 redline tach. Ran SS/E which fits for 396/325 hp I think.
I have an L35 block less than 400 cars from the car posted. Possibly from the same dealer but I have not checked. |
