I think early 1971,was the last time it was raced.
And he said it was driven on the road,once when he brought it home,and two times...in the mid 80's.....the cars had a pretty easy life...hehe |

What is this car worth? (I think it is a very 'groovy' car too and would only detail it)

I agree with everyone else and would just clean it up and drive it. A car can be restored at any point, but once it has been restored, it will never be a survivor. That car is groovy and it has a great history. I would still think the value would be somewhere in the $40-$50K range. Thanks for the pictures and start talking to your friend to see if you can get him down on the price.
