What is the “red cone” thing on the passenger inner fender well of Charley's Bonneville?
Factory alarm? Road side light?

It's a roadside trouble light (reel out light) that can detach from under hood and has enough length that it can go all the way to the rear of the car, in case you have a flat in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night. I believe that it is also magnetic?
