You are correct.... the VIN stamp was always on the front of the engine for the BB Nova....never on the rough casting near the oil filter.

Thanks for the answer on the radiator support. What about the big block 4 speed transmission cross member? Isn't it the same as the big block 4 speed Camaro cross member? I've got a Nova big block 4 speed cross member in my big block '69 Camaro. Someone had cut up my original one and I got one out of a 396 4 speed Nova.

As far as I know they are the same...since you have one in place, that really answers the question.

Cross members are the same, BB Camaro/Nova.

Thanks for the answers. The add said that this one has a one year only cross member in it, which didn't seem right to me.
