Just like I prefer muscle cars over 2 seater sports cars of the 1960's - so I would lean towards a 4 seater Ferarri too. A later build Mondial convertible would be nice. That said, you could own one in the US fairly easily. I would be very tempted to find cars which are not available here- especially if they are old enough to legally come back. The Audi/ Group B fan in me would have to at least test drive one of these: Lancia Delta Intergrale! </div></div> Yep. Those are definitely on my radar screen. Produced from 1987-1993, so all would be 25 years old (and eligible to import) when I left here in 2018. The 8v and 16v versions can be found for around $10k in driver condition, the EVO 1's bring a few thousand more. The EVO 2's I have seen start out at around $20k. Would certainly be a fun car to tool around Italy in, but at the end of the day, I'm looking for something a bit older and with a bit more character. If I somehow end up with a place with no garage (e.g., we unexpectedly end up on post), have to leave something out in the weather, this makes more sense. Thanks, Scott

Get a 1970s BMW CS 3.0 Classic styling, you'll fit no problem, very good power to weight ratio and they handle rear well.

These cars were very successful in their day. Thanks, Scott

Here is another site: http://www.autoscout24.it/ And here is the link to the EU wide site. http://www.autoscout24.eu/ I'm a bit north of you. So if you see anything in Germany, let me know, as I might be able to check it out depending on distance.

I'm familiar with autoscout; just find the other sites a bit more user friendly. Will let you know if I find something in your neck of the woods. Scott
