Semi off-topic, but would a late 70's Vette sold from Yenko (with documentation) have any collector value? Seems late 70's vettes are at about rock bottom in value... just wondering if the Yenko connection would make one any more desirable. I know where there are a couple locally... at least one is 100% original, in good shape and a 4 speed.

Certainly a conversation starter but basically no bearing on value. Those cars are tough... slow as dogs on a summer afternoon, and they're vacuum disasters. One line is corroded the whole system fails and good luck finding it.

----Have a local buddy that swapped a crate 502 into his anemic 76 Vette along with a 5-speed. The thing was a beast and he didn't change the outside appearance at all. Surprised the heck out of a lot of locals, and he got pretty good money when he sold it due to the transplant. Although I don't think he quite broke even, he had a lot of fun.....Bill S

![]() Maybe emblems and/or decals too but Weaver Chev Oil City indeed used plate frames, here's a pic of one below if it works. Especially if using it on the Olds Ryan, there's a few other a Weaver dealers including these below frames currently on eBay.
