i have owners names, walter loukota or loukata marion, iowa 69 - about 81?
bob parker manchester,iowa 81-85?
mike remiker 85-? last owner? arlington heights, ill.
maybe theyre on here? this is so cool decoding and learning. I
i figured i bought a clone, w/ added tach and console. the CE engine story checks out..paperwork for new block and internals nov/72 new 1/4 and trunk 82, dealer did them stephan chevrolet-olds manchester iowa.
repainted in 2004 by last owners. couple who had mini gm muscle car museum
this was her car. I am sooo digging this..thx again

May have originally, but the orig. owner was drafter off to Vietnam.
Walt, the 2nd owner, bought it cuz he wanted a sports car and his dad said no to porshe and others.
he says his dad signed the note on the 69. its nice to know, he missed his old car and always wondered. felt good when he said i made his day.

I would think a 350/300HP would never get a 4:56.It would never make it to the end of the quarter.Nice Camaro.

the code said bw... but, driving it @ 55, she didn twind and still pulled good.. i doubt there are 4:56 in it. thats the code on the tube. pass side

The car is not a 350/300 SS... it's a 302/290 Z28.


BTW check and the stamped letter code on the ralley wheels located next to the valve stem.
See if it looks like this

Codes are k-1-9 8 8 ys by stem all 4 rims
