Mark is a good friend & customer and true to the (our) hobby in it's original form. I have had the honor of working on this car. Bringing it out of a 8 year slumber prior to it's Mecum appearance last fall, it was a joy! This 1970 LS-6 is a time capsule for originality in fit, finish, and detail (good or bad). It obviously has had some detailing under the hood, but that should not diminish the value and history it shows us how it was really done back in the day. Ask anyone in the know who has seen this car, it is truly an amazing vehicle. Good luck with the sale Mark, I hope it finds a worthy home to be displayed with pride.

Bill

----Mark,,,I hope my "heavily massaged" comment didnt ruffle any feathers. Any true Chevelle guy would lust for this LS6 just the way it is, and that definetly includes me! You and anybody else, including me again, has to look at what they own and make a decision as to how they see a car. Not having seen what you started with underhood I have no reason to second guess any choice you made. The detail is very, very nice. Good luck with the sale........Bill S

Honestly Bill this why having the classified forum open can cast shadows on a car or rub an owner the wrong way. If anyone is interested in the car simply contact Mark. Mark has made no "choices", as the car is as he purchased it over a decade ago. Mark is a true caretaker of his survivor cars and has been in the hobby long enough to know how to preserve and maintain cars.

I don't want to take away from Mark's ad, but find it frustrating when all the questions people have can be answered by simply contacting the seller.

Very well said. You have to personally see this car to really appreciate it. If your looking for an LS-6, this is the car (as long as you like red)!
