Even unrepairable if there is such a thing, if this is the genuine #56 block w/ original stampings intact it's something special and worthy of value even if reduced to coffee table status.
At the very least it deserves a place in the corner of someone's shop to sleep and dream about the past like a respected old man.

if you bought something from this auction and need it shipped.

i just got off the phone with philadelphia mailroom.

they are making a run today to the auction to pick up a lot of stuff to ship to people.

waiting to hear back how far i'm bent over on shipping cost.

seems reasonable for a piece of history, and the 'rare' chance it can be repaired.

I think the Paypal rules on refunds are different if it is not an ebay auction payment?

Correct...anytime I use PayPal, I put it on my credit card because there is a lot more protection for me. I NEVER have PayPal take money out of my checking account.

I don't feel bad for PayPal, I feel bad for me and everyone who is forced to use it through Ebay.

No one is making you use ebay but yourself. Most if not all the parts you sell on ebay would sell right here.
