This post was meant to be humorous, but was in bad taste and offensive and therefore removed.

Are you kidding me Steve? I quoted a previous post that had a link to Jerry playing some pretty cool drums and included a lyrical quote from another wildly popular song with equally as good percussion. I fail to see the misinterpreted bad taste and offensive humor. If you looked at both of those links you would realize this was praise to his skills as a percussionist. As one who "bangs the bongos" myself, I would consider such a reference a compliment.

I realize I may have had many failed attempts at humor on this site but offensive and bad taste are NOT on my play list.

I guess we missed that it was lyrical quote from another wildly popular song with equally as good percussion. Jerry was very upset over it so he must have missed it also.

I can't keep score, am i missing something? This is a thread bashing a camaro specialist because he had an alter ego self promoting second screename. But a post about a him playing the drums gets censored. I always thought a thread about an ex-members got locked down because that person can no longer post and defend themselves here.??????

Sorry Charlie, the link I added was to the hit song by Dire Straits, Money for Nothing from the 1980's. The phrase I used is commonly understood by drummers that it is time to play or perform at a gig(show).

I also used the in reference to his video.
Not sure if the link itself was offensive so I won't put it up again. It was however on the same page as the originally posted video. Hope this clears up any unintentioned offense.

I find it hard to believe that somebody could find that in bad taste and have no problem to the sexual reference on the previous page.

*woops, almost forgot.... Jerry I do apologize if you find that offensive.

I don't remember the text but it was something about looking like a monkey.

at the risk of being banned, I'll post the link, it is not offensive in any way...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAD6Obi7Cag

and repeat the text "banging on the bongos like a chimpanzee" a lyric from the above linked song, also not offensive,
it's a reference to playing the drums for cripes sakes!!

I hope he "gets it" now.

she gets it...
