Personally, I'm glad all this came out. I was made to look like a liar and someone who didn't pay their bills a couple of years ago on this very board...in the same thread as the RG 69 Z. It has bothered me ever since, knowing there are those who believed every word uttered by "the subject of this thread" to be true. Maybe some can see the light now.

An example of bashing someone on another site simply because they support the sYc, in this case Steve Sandlin. BTW, a true car enthusiast.

Guess who called me to ask about a value on the car before he posted it for sale. S. Sandlin.

Steve S. flipped it and really made out well with a grand slam.........well over $150K profit. Think it was sold for $300K.

IMO, Very a unprofessional way to conduct one's business.

The gurus who have my full appreciation are the one's who aren't always talking about "the money". Steve (Shauger), Larry(C) and Brian (H)- thank you for being you.

Wow! I am not liking what I am reading! There is a complete explanation behind Steve and the sale of his cars but that is NOT for public discussion. If some knew the whole story they would be very embarrassed by those kinds of remarks. What Steve did was very noble and not what most would have done in the same situation.

Moderators, feel free to remove this if you feel inappropriate.

No need to edit or remove, S.Sandlin put others first and sold some cars - a true car guy knows his priorities!

Some of those old battles between him and Jeff at Dated Components in the classified parts section of Hemmings were crazy, he used to buy half a page column just to air it all out, nuts.
