Re: Pontiac Dealer Cdes
Pete:
It's not a Nickey car but, I grew up about six blocks from there so I added the decal. Thanks for all of your help and I hope you like the pics. I was only able to get about 200 break-in miles on the motor before Winter set in so, I'm looking forward to putting some miles on this Corvette soon! Ed [image][/image]

Zone 17 is the Jacksonville, FLA zone. I see a 17-219 in Ft Lauderdale, and a 17-319 in St Pete, but not a 17-519. http://ultimategto.com/art18.htm Depending on how curious you are, you could send for the PHS information and pop for the reproduction window sticker, which would have the dealer information on it. PHS seems to have a more complete database than is available to the rest of us. K

It shows billing to "307 992". Does anyone have these codes? Thanks, Ed </div></div> Ed - the pictures seemed to have dropped off. Could you post a pic so I can see which car you are referring to? BTW - I agree with Mike's assessment: 307-992 (Pontiac Zone - dealer stock - for storage); Pontiac Engineering is 35-997 (where the Super Duty cars were shipped). k

In spite of losing all credibility my other comments still apply.

I'm not aware of any vintage shots, but will keep my eyes open. One of the things you might try is to google the address and see if the building is still there/still in use. I did this for the dealership where my Grand Prix was delivered (Stevenson Pontiac, Ludington MI) and the building is still there, in use as a antique/flea market. K
