The headers always came first then the turbo mufflers and the tach attached to the steering column. I actually tried to live with an original Muncie shifter in high school and that resulted in those little dimples in the quarter panel when the hammer would be loose in the trunk. There was nothing like being out on a date and having your date pull on the shifter handle in the car while I was under the car beating on the shifter rods to get the car in reverse so I could leave the parking lot after a nice meal.
