-----OK! Hope you didnt take that as a diss as it wasnt intended that way. I have been looking at alot of Holley equipped cars lately trying to figure this out, but apparently the factory would run it either way. Some engineer somewhere probably had a reason.......Bill S

I know how it was delivered and I know how it's gonna stay.

Yeh but that orange lift bracket has got to go............j/k Cumby! I have looked at his PCV line closely and would have to agree with him after he pointed some things out.

Darren, does this mean my first ride drive is null and void and I now get another.......?

At least that is what the assembly manual calls for. Maybe they stopped using them at some point. They are a PITA and Dennis would have know if he had them the first time he tried to take the air cleaner off.

My car is a late build so maybe they ran out of clips. But the hose still ran around the front.

And for the record: Rick is NOT one of the 'experts' I referred to. I used that term tongue-in-cheek. Rick has ALWAYS been open minded about the anomalies on these cars.

Never took it that way. For one thing, I am no expert, just someone who does a LOT of research and who is passionate about correctness on the cars I restore and agree totally with what you have said before, NEVER SAY NEVER!!! You are referring to the "experts" that come up to you at car shows and tell you everything that is wrong and they don't even own a car.
