[ QUOTE ] A couple of cars from the West Michigan Camaro Club. I asked Ray about this one and he said "no paper but supposedly real." 1969 Motion Camaro ![]() ![]() Original paint and all. [/ QUOTE ] More information needed! Great showing. -Dan [/ QUOTE ] Very neat car...but if it's the real deal I would take off that T/A wing and put the correct Motion 3-post wing on...love the color combo...looks just like the "Skip's Fiesta Drive-In" Revell model car.

Kendal, nice to meet you as well. Looks like you should have a long career with a great company.

What a great party! You can't ask for better folks than the Bergers ![]() ![]() They said they were serving "light snacks", how bout 50-60 large pizzas! Had them brought in 10 at a time so they were always hot ![]() Count I heard was 57 camaro's in front of the dealership Made the news on at least 2 TV stations at 6 and 11. It was a GREAT time!!!Many of us knew that Tammy Loudon's car was being delivered but "somehow" no one told her. Can't believe we kept the secret. She was saying how she just hoped it would be delivered before power Tour LOL. After the unleasing Matt said "Tammy, I need your car moved out front" and there it was ![]() ![]() How many times do you see the dealership owner putting your tags on LOL.The motion car belongs to a WMCC member we only see a couple of times a year. From what I have been told he has had the car since the early 80's and have always been told it was the real deal. I do not know if it has been verified with Joel or not. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I gotta agree about that split in the front of the hockey stripe on the yellow car. That looks terrible! I really hope that's not factory.

The gap is where 2 body panels meet. But if I understood them correctly, they are currently not being done at the factory. There is a GM rep going dealer to dealer installing them.

That is the factory vinyl stripe. The gap is where 2 body panels meet. [/ QUOTE ] I understand thats WHY it's split, just saying it looks terrible like that. Was hoping to hear that it was just a one-off trim shop job rather than a factory applied stripe. Thanks for the pics and info! I guess I should just shut up and be happy the Camaro is at least being built again... |

Personal opinion; it needs a thinner stripe adjoining it on top or maybe on both sides like the '69s. Just has an unfinished look the way it is. Same for the hood panel.

The day after picking it up, the camaro went to the body shop to make the gap better and add pinstripes.

I think it looks GREAT now! That's the way GM should be doing it ![]() ![]() ![]()
