"For some categories, sellers can also accept: Bank-to-bank transfers (also known as bank wire transfers and bank cash transfers) Checks Money orders" not aware of anyone INSISTING on PayPal only that is a successful seller

Any seller can accept checks or money orders. They just can't put it in their listings. The details can be worked out after the auction ends.

James [/ QUOTE ] I'm only stating what Ebay has stated its policy to be. They said they were going to a paperless policy as of Jan 15th. Now if Paypal is offered as (at least) one method to pay (which is now dictated). If I can't mention money orders are accepted in the ad, what's to prevent a buyer from clicking the "pay now" with Paypal button right after he wins the auction?? I have no time to tell him to use a money order, and I just got 2.9% ripped off from me from Paypal for it's computer to spend a second making the transfer! ![]() |
