------Rob,,,It would seem that your situation would be a little bit apart from the expressed reasons for this rule being implemented, but surely you can see that they shouldnt make up a new rule just for you (a poster who used to be a member and has 400 or so posts).
------As well, I would think I probably go to as many cruises and shows as you and God knows I talk to a lot of people. Never once have I encountered anyone who expressed the thought that the guys on this sight have an attitude,,,never! If anything the guys I talk to lean towards the idea that this sight and its members are beneficial to the integrity of the hobby. Do I agree with every thought put out here??? NO, I sometimes disagree with a viewpoint, but it would never occur to me that the viewpoint is elitist, which it seems is what it appears you are implying........Bill S

Is the problem over the recent policy or the $25?.

If the policy, why not toss the $25 into the hat, get your ads flying again...then as an active member address any concerns?.

As far as anyone who's upset at this site or members, personally I always attribute much to the fact that the truth often pisses people off and many seem to choose blaming those who point it out rather than facing their realities?.

I've always enjoyed your input and sharing the LM1 story w/ us and letting the $25 or displeasure w/ the new rules making you jump ship from the site would be a shame!.

Best to you in the sale of your car!.

~ Pete

I thought a LM1 was a 327 4bbl. Didn't you say in an earlier ad that this car was a 307?

That's right. Brain fart. I think this car was advertised as a 307. Am I mistaken?

I just renewed my membership.I forgot to renew it as I have have been really busy since moving and not been on the computer much.I did not intentionally violate the rules,I had not read the updated rules for posting adds, totally my fault! I would not have posted more than 2 adds if I had known it was a no-no.I am listing the car for a friend and am gaining NOTHING from it. Notwithstanding that,I still do not agree with the change in rules, but will abide by them.I don't like the fact that when I aired my opinion about it I got lambasted, one wanted me banned? Come on guys, people should be allowed to voice their concerns,if you don't agree that's fine but don't go overboard and get personal.A member brought up what I do for a living which is really low.I tried to log in last night but it said that I was locked out?I hope that was an accident and not censorship. As far as a lot of people steering away from the site because of poor attitudes, I've heard it too many times.I wish it were not the case.I have always told those people that this is a good site and to not mind the few snobs that come here.

If your being banned statement was based on my statement of "GONG'm" that wasn't the intention...the "gong" was directed at your protesting to the rules...I don't think you've earned the right of being banned.
