I've checked around locally by me but the '69s are in the $60s and modified quite a bit.
Maybe one of our members would consider doing a little scouting for you. |

The performance models and/or modified examples are a dime a dozen these days. A good original (or close to it) base coupe is a tough find. No rush though, I've been looking a while now and will continue until the right one appears.

Had a local lead that I finally got a chance to view this weekend however it unfortunately fell well short of expectations. Bumping this again.

Still looking for the right base coupe.

Opening the criteria slightly; I'll consider an L65/LM1, a 6 cylinder (230/250), or a nice survivor L48. The rest of the criteria still applies... completely original or close enough that I can return it to original, no projects, etc.

Tons of modified cars out. Finding one that hadn’t been messed with is certainly a tough task.

Very much so. It seems like 99% of the base coupes have long since been turned into something else. I figure I'm about 10 years late to the party

I ran into Earl (MGM Classic Cars) at a show today. He said he's helped a few folks from AU get cars.

You could ask Earl. He said that it's hard to find a stock car but you could always reach out and discuss, he's buying and selling more cars than any of us.
